This 0.81-mile wooded trail can be accessed off Route 85, near the Mass Pike Bridge (GPS: 42.27902,-71.52561). Features include wooden boardwalks (thanks to the good work of a few Eagle Scouts over the years), vernal pools, glacial rock formations, plaques of dedication, and a bench perfect for picnics or wildlife viewings.
Templeman Woods, 8.2 acres, was given to the Southborough Open Land Foundation in 1996 by Martha Templeman. The Watkins Woods, 9.6 acres, was donated to Southborough by Alfred R. Watkins in 2000. There is limited parking for one or two cars along Route 85 near the trail entrance.
