Overview
The Planning Board consists of five members, elected for five-year staggered terms. The Board reviews and approves applications for permits as required by the Town's bylaws, reviews and approves subdivisions and developments, and conducts site plan reviews. From time to time the Planning Board proposes and amends zoning bylaws for Town Meeting approval. The Board typically meets on alternating Mondays of each month at 7 pm at the Town House located at 17 Common Street.
Most applications and rules and regulations can be downloaded from this website or are available in hardcopy at the Planning Department. Please do not hesitate to contact the planning department if you have any questions.
