On the home page under "Volunteer Positions", you can see a list of current openings. The Select Board's Office also maintains a file of committee applications, so you can apply for a position at any time. Staff will review this file during annual appointments in the spring as well as throughout the year when a vacancy occurs. Fill out the form and attach a resume to it, then return it to the Select Board's Office. You may also email the Select Board's Office and attach both documents.
Under “Select Board” on the town website, you can click on a link to e-mail any member of the Select Board. You can also call the Select Board’s Office at 508-485-0710 to leave a message for a board member or send an email to the Select Board Office. The Select Board members do not regularly hold office hours, please check the event calendar for any upcoming office hours to be held.
Find “Job Opportunities” to see current job openings. They are also posted on the bulletin board in the Town House. In addition, keep an eye on the Town’s Twitter account for updates like these and other news and information. Be sure to follow us - @17Common. Openings in the school department are posted on their website.
Typically the Select Board holds Office Hours on the second Tuesday of the month, from 5:00- 7:00 PM in the McAuliffe Hearing Room (second floor of the Town House). You do not need an appointment to discuss your questions or concerns with Board members.
